MEET
PAUL CORNWELL,
DMIN
Founder and President Life Impact Ministries
Paul Cornwell began his pastoral ministry immediately after college in 1974, serving in three churches over six years, while completing his Master of Divinity degree at Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary in Memphis, TN. Over the next three decades, Paul served as Lead Pastor for four congregations, planting two of them. He also earned his Doctor of Ministry degree from Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando in 2000.
In July 2000, Paul met Ken Sande, founder of Peacemaker Ministries and Relational Wisdom 360, during a Doctor of Ministry seminar focused on Biblical Peacemaking. This transformative experience significantly impacted how Paul expressed his spiritual gifts and ultimately reshaped his ministry approach in 2009.
Paul began his conciliation ministry in 2002 while pastoring in Orlando, initially part-time. By 2009, he transitioned to full-time conciliation work under Life Impact Ministries, a ministry he founded in 1992. For over 15 years, Paul has been associated with Peacemaker Ministries and co-founded Crossroads Resolution Group. Through these partnerships, he has provided Christian conciliation services to local churches, ministry organizations, and Christian marriages.
In April 2024, Paul and his wife Meg decided to refocus their efforts more directly through Life Impact Ministries. Paul continues to offer the same services he has provided since 2002, while also expanding into new areas based on his interests, theological training, and skills. He holds certifications from the Institute for Christian Conciliation (aorhope.org) and Relational Wisdom 360 (rw360.org).

What others are saying about us
Establishing a foundation upon which “…His peace” can be experienced
Steve (Executive Director) | 2025
It is my joy to recommend to you Paul Cornwell of Life Impact Ministries. I have known Paul for over 3 decades. He is my friend. I have seen Paul in many settings over the years. He has displayed a genuine commitment to serving Christ and His church.
I have also seen Paul at his most vulnerable respond to challenging situations with a sincere desire to walk with integrity. He has prioritized understanding how our Lord is working in his own heart and life rather than winning a battle.
What sets Paul apart in conciliation ministry is not only his 15 years of experience of working nationally with local churches experiencing unresolved conflicts, issues they have found unresolvable, but also his skills and experience as a pastor. Paul understands ministry organizationally and relationally. His ability to identify the barriers preventing resolution and developing a strategy to address and remove them is excellent. In Paul’s conciliation work, he has demonstrated a remarkable ability to navigate complex and otherwise unresolvable conflict situations.
Please consider using Paul to assist in establishing a foundation upon which “…His peace” can be experienced.
“Remarkable transformation for our Church”
Mike (Elder) | 2024
Our church faced a crisis after our head pastor resigned, leaving us divided and confused. As an elder, I saw the turmoil firsthand—endless meetings yielded little progress, and members began to leave. Then Paul Cornwell from Peacemakers intervened, providing a crucial pause to our frantic efforts. He guided us through self-reflection and reconciliation, even facilitating a meeting with our former pastor to address unresolved conflicts. The transformation was remarkable; we regained focus and hope, culminating in a powerful worship service marked by heartfelt repentance. Today, our congregation has grown from 125 to over 700 members, thriving with strong leadership and a vibrant community. We are immensely grateful for Paul’s role in our church’s revival and unity.
“Gentle and wise expert”
Phil (CEO) | 2024
Reconciliation can be extremely painful to walk through as wounds are examined and discussed. That’s how it was for me. But I could not have asked for a more gentle, wise expert to walk through the experience. Paul is like an experienced heart surgeon helping to thoroughly clean out old wounds so that true, lasting healing can begin. He quickly understands complex relational dynamics, safeguards healthy communication and continually invites God’s gracious truth into the restoration process.
